project summary
The glass functions by giving privacy to the dining area while maintaining light levels. It is decorated subtly with individual petal forms, which are concentrated in a grid structure over three openings and then fragment and drift towards the edges. The petals are sand carved into the glass and then brightened to catch the light, revealing their undulating surface. The contrasting flat background has a silk like finish with clear see through areas at the top and bottom.
